What Types of UPVC Double-Glazed Units Can We Replace?

In Northampton and various other areas, we offer a wide range of double-glazed unit replacements. Our selection includes various glass options; feel free to contact us for more information:

Energy-Efficient Glass - Incorporating low-E glass into your windows reflects outdoor heat, keeping your interior cooler in summer and warmer in winter.

Georgian Bar or Leaded Glass - Whether your windows feature internal Georgian bars or an external leaded design, we have the expertise to replicate them.

Toughened Glass or Laminated Glass - Certain locations, such as doors, require the installation of safety glass to comply with legal regulations.

Like-for-Like Replacement - Regardless of your current glass type, we can provide a like-for-like replacement.

How Do You Know When Your Double-Glazed Unit Needs Replacement?

Double-glazed windows come with seals that prevent moisture from entering the unit. Over time, these seals deteriorate, leading to condensation buildup between the glazing. When you notice condensation between the two glass layers of your double-glazed unit, it's a clear sign that it's time for a replacement.

Do You Want to Save Money on Your Energy Bills?

You can save money on your energy bills by installing energy efficient glass. The latest technology, such as a Planitherm Low-E double glazed unit, allows for the glass to reflect the heat back into your property, whilst also reflecting UV light and solar heat from the sun back outside. This keeps your house cooler in the summer and warmer in the winter. According to the Energy Saving Trust, an average 3 bed semi can save around £195 a year on your heating bill by replacing your existing glazing with double glazed energy efficient glass.
